Where we work
USABox Foundation works in communities facing hunger, conflict, displacement, and extreme poverty. We focus on regions where children are most at risk and access to basic needs is limited. Our programs adapt to local conditions to ensure every shoebox delivers real impact, not just aid.Our global focus includes crisis-affected and underserved areas across Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and parts of Asia. We collaborate with local partners to reach children in schools, shelters, camps, and remote communities.

Ethiopia
Ethiopia faces a growing child crisis as millions still need life-saving nutrition, education, and basic services in 2024–2025. While nearly 3,000,000 malnourished children and women were reached in 2024, severe funding cuts in 2025 halted treatment for around 650,000 people and threaten care for up to 8,000,000 children targeted by UNICEF. Rising poverty, displacement, hunger severity, and reduced education budgets are reversing hard-won gains and putting children at increasing risk.

Ukraine
In 2025, the war in Ukraine continues to place children at extreme risk, with 1,070,000 children targeted for humanitarian support amid 12,700,000 people in need. Verified child casualties keep rising, millions remain displaced, poverty has surged to 37.0%, and education is heavily disrupted with more than 1 out of 3 students not fully learning in classrooms. At the same time, funding shortfalls and escalating attacks are forcing aid agencies to scale back life-saving education, food, health, and protection services for children.

Haiti
In 2025, Haiti faces a severe child survival crisis, with 2,850,000 children experiencing high food insecurity and over 1,000,000 living in emergency-level hunger. Violence and instability have displaced 680,000 children in just 1 year, while only 4,600 children have received treatment for severe acute malnutrition out of 129,000 who urgently need it. Deep funding gaps and collapsing services leave millions of children without food, healthcare, education, or protection.

Yemen
In 2024–2025, Yemen faces one of the most severe child malnutrition crises globally, with over 2,700,000 children under 5 acutely malnourished and 49% suffering chronic stunting that threatens lifelong development. Acute malnutrition among under-5 children increased 34% in 1 year, yet only 166,327 children received treatment in early 2025, far below total need. Ongoing conflict, disease outbreaks, and collapsed health, water, and education systems leave millions of children exposed to hunger, illness, and long-term harm.
